Details about the next iteration of Honor's power series device have surfaced. The Honor Power 2 is coming soon, and if the name wasn't already a dead giveaway, it will focus on battery endurance. New details suggest a massive upsize in battery, potentially eliminating the need for carrying power banks.
Honor Power 2 could feature a massive 10,000mAh battery
According to Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Honor Power 2 could feature an imagination-bending 10,000mAh battery while being just 8 millimetres in thickness. The information suggests this could be possible via Silicon Carbon batteries and significant internal design optimisations.

For those unaware, the first-generation Honor Power launched in April 2025, and it featured an 8,000mAh battery with 66W charging in an 8 mm chassis. An increase to 10,000mAh in just six months could be quite a feat indeed.
Adding to the battery information, the leak also claims that Honor could pack MediaTek's unannounced Dimensity 8500 chipset into the Power 2. Given how capable the Dimensity 8450 already is, the 8500 will certainly be a good bonus to have in a mid-ranger. Besides, it could feature a flat 120Hz 1.5K LTPS display with an optical in-display fingerprint scanner, all packed into a "drop-resistant" body.

While most of its specifications are still under wraps, DCS claims that the device could launch in the first quarter of 2026, which isn't too far now. However, Honor is yet to officially confirm the existence of the device, let alone reveal its exact release date.
Stay tuned as we cover all the new details and specifications of the Honor Power 2 when they surface as we inch closer to launch.
