Infinix's "GT" lineup has always focused on delivering a superior gaming experience at competitive prices. The yet-to-launch Infinix GT 50 Pro 5G is also expected to carry forward the same mantra. We have already heard about its key specifications and now, the alleged launch period of the phone has also surfaced online.
Infinix GT 50 Pro 5G India Launch Could Happen in Q2
As per tipster Sanju Choudhary, the upcoming Infinix GT 50 Pro 5G will launch in India either in the month of April or May 2026. Infinix is also expected to keep the same launch timeframe for the phone's global release as well. If true, this could advance the GT series launch by almost two months. For context, the Infinix GT 30 Pro launched in India back in June 2025.

As for what the new phone will bring, a recent Infinix GT 50 Pro 5G specs leak post outed almost every key detail as well as its design. Based on that, it seems like Infinix is keeping the gamer aesthetics intact with a carbon fibre-like textured back pattern with neon green LED light strips at the bottom.
The phone has also been revealed to feature dual rear cameras with capacitive shoulder triggers. In terms of hardware, it is expected to rock the Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset (an overclocked version of the Dimensity 8400 processor) and is said to be paired with 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage.

As for the display, Infinix GT 50 Pro 5G could gain a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate. It could also pack a 6,500mAh battery with 45W USB-C, 30W wireless and 10W reverse wired charging support.
Aside from that, the phone could bring a 50 MP main camera, an IP68 rating and more. That said, since these are still leaks, take them with a pinch of salt. With an estimated Q2 2026 window, we still have two more months before the phone goes official. So, expect more concrete details to emerge shortly.
