Infinix's "GT" lineup has always focused on delivering a superior gaming experience at competitive prices. With the Infinix GT 30 series last year, the brand introduced 120 FS gaming support, segment's first capacitive shoulder triggers and more. Now, in 2026, the Infinix GT 50 Pro 5G is all set to arrive with a refreshed design and competitive peripherals.
Infinix GT 50 Pro 5G leaked with redesigned back panel
Tech publication Passionategeekz has shared an exclusive first look at the upcoming Infinix GT 50 Pro 5G smartphone. It has revealed a complete departure in design when compared to the GT 30 Pro. The phone now has a carbon fibre-like textured upper back with criss-cross patterns.
The bottom half of the smartphone houses neon green LED light strips, which are shaped like a "claw". There is also a thin green LED light indicator at the bottom-right corner of the smartphone. At first glance, the GT 50 Pro 5G's design looks much cleaner and more sophisticated than the Infinix GT 30 Pro.

As for the camera deco, it still features the dual lens setup in a vertical camera island. However, it is more in-theme with the overall gamer-esque look Infinix is going for. Speaking of gamers, the presence of capacitive shoulder triggers on the side is clearly visible. The same side of the frame also houses the volume and power buttons.
So, it is evident that the GT 50 Pro 5G is on track to become one of the coolest-looking Infinix phones in 2026. Since the brand is targeting gamers, it is said to feature the Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset inside. This is an overclocked version of the Dimensity 8400 processor and is said to be paired with 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage.
At the front, the phone is reportedly getting a 6.78 inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and slim overall bezels. On the battery side, early leaks point to either a single 6,500mAh cell or a 6,150mAh dual-cell capacity. It could also bring 45W USB-C, 30W wireless and 10W reverse wired charging support.
As for the cameras, rumours indicate a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide angle lens and another 8 MP selfie camera. That said, since these are still leaks, take them with a pinch of salt. It is unclear why Infinix skipped the GT 40 branding entirely or when the GT 50 Pro will go official in India. Given that the last-gen model lauched under Rs 25,000, we can expect similar pricing for the upcoming phone as well.
