Back in November 2025, the iQOO 15 went official in India. While it is now time for the "Z Turbo" lineup to arrive in the country, it looks like a new member of the number series family is also coming in the form of the iQOO 15R.

iQOO 15R launch right around the corner

Spotted first by folks over at The Tech Outlook, iQOO 15R has appeared on the Bluetooth certification website with model number I2508. This comes as a surprise since iQOO has not launched any R-branded smartphone in its premium number series so far. So, this could be a first for the brand.

As for what the new phone will bring, at the time of writing, there is no info on that yet. However, the current internet chatter believes it could be a rebrand of the iQOO Z11 Turbo in China. However, we believe it won't be an exact rebrand.

For starters, the Z11 Turbo will launch with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in China. However, since the iQOO 15 already packs that chip, there is a high possibility that the 15R will get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor.

Aside from that, it could retain everything else. From the new "porthole-style" design to a 7,600mAh battery, the iQOO 15R could very well compete with the OnePlus 15R in India. If it gets the 200 MP main camera and a  6.59-inch 1.5K LTPS flat OLED display, it could seriously launch as an ideal price-to-performance ratio offering.

That said, since we are in the nascent stage of the iQOO 15R leak, expect more concrete details to arrive soon. Since these are speculative at the time of writing, take them with a pinch of salt.
