At its annual general meeting on June 19, 2026, Reliance Industries announced Jio TeleFrames as "a family of Jio AI agents built for everyday life." These AI agents are to help users build a "connected home" experience, lending a hand in executing daily tasks, managing guests, streaming content and more.

Jio TeleFrames: What Is It and How Does It Work?

Jio TeleFrames is a voice-first AI hub that's meant to "help, act and stay visible to the family". The AI platform supports every Indian language and, keeping privacy intact, always acts with permission. Interestingly, Jio states that these AI agents know the users, their families, their routines and more, to "sense context and bring the right help forward".

Most importantly, it all seems to be completely automated, and will work without anyone needing to open apps, search menus or repeat their requests. This hands-free approach to the AI hub will definitely make things easier for the elderly and kids to navigate their way around the system.

During the Reliance AGM 2026, Jio demoed TeleFrames by showing how it recognises routines like children leaving for school and proactively suggests carrying an umbrella when rain is forecast.

Similarly, it also reminds a user of a doctor's appointment during the day. Interestingly, it also listens in when a user is planning a family reunion with someone and marks the date, takes note of the members and even brings culinary suggestions to the table. Accordingly, it is also seen building the grocery list and placing an order for all required items with a single command.

Meanwhile, during match night, it automatically puts it on the big screen at the right time for the family to enjoy. In addition, it also intelligently sets the lights and adjusts fan speeds for a more comfortable viewing experience.

From the looks of it, Reliance is basically promoting Jio TeleFrames as an intelligent JioHome add-on that will help users create a smart home ecosystem.

Jio TeleFrames, alongside the new Jio AI call agent, MyJio app and more, were at the heart of the Reliance AGM 2026 announcements. AI is certainly the core of most smart experiences these days and Reliance is buckling up to not fall behind in this race.
