Summary

  • Lava has officially given us our first look at the camera module design of the Lava Agni 4.
  • It features a horizontal pill-shaped dual camera cutout at the top with what appears to be LED lights on the side.
  • Expected specs include a 7,000mAh battery, MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor and 50 MP cameras.

Lava is officially gearing up to launch the successor to its popular mid-range smartphone, the Lava Agni 3. The brand has started teasing the smartphone and now, it has given us our first look into the back design of the phone, specifically the camera module.

Lava Agni 4 is getting a noticeable design upgrade

The official X handle of Lava has made a post revealing the top-half of the Agni 4 smartphone. It focuses on the camera module design specifically. From the image, it is evident that the Lava Agni 4 will feature a horizontal pill-shaped camera module.

The presence of a dual camera setup is pretty evident, along with two separate LED flash modules at the top and the big "AGNI" branding at the centre. However, the interesting bit seems to be the presence of two thin light strips, located at both ends of the camera deco.

This is very similar to what the Tecno Pova Slim did with its Mood Light and is close to what we saw Nothing doing with the Glyph Lights on the Phone (2a) series. Moreover, there also appears to be an outer-polished aluminium/metal layer that protects the camera island and also adds to the camera bump.

Other than that, the brand has already teased that the Agni 4 will arrive with a polished metal mid-frame. IT will house the power button and the volume rockers on the side and will have a shiny look. Since Lava is going all-in with Agni 4, the back could also possibly be made out of glass. However, there is no confirmation on that front yet.

Apart from that, the official key specs of the smartphone are yet to surface online. However, internet chatter has shared some speculations already. For starters, the smartphone is said to bring almost a 7,000mAh battery, a 2,000mAh jump compared to the Lava Agni 3

In terms of performance, the processor choice seems to lean towards the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset. The display is expected to be a 6.7-inch Full HD+ 120 Hz panel and the primary camera is said to be 50 MP.

That said, as mentioned earlier none of these details have been officially confirmed. So, take them with a grain of salt. A brief Lava Agni 4 India launch teaser revealed November 2025 as the launch month for the phone. However, the exact date is yet to arrive.
