Lava is all set to launch the Agni 4 in India next week. However, at a dedicated press event, the Indian smartphone maker has already made almost the entire specification list of the smartphone official.
Agni 4 is the most capable Lava smartphone to date
A bunch of known tipsters and enthusiasts attended the event and took to X to share all the details. Starting with the design, the Agni 4 is the first smartphone from Lava to flaunt premium materials and build quality all around. The smartphone brings a matte AG glass back in the Lunar Mist and Phantom Black colourways and is complemented by a flat aluminium mid-frame.

The Lava Agni 4 is also visually striking thanks to the new horizontal pill-shaped dual camera module design. It features the "AGNI" branding at the centre with the dual-tone flash at the top. The camera deco also features two thin strips of LED light, located at both ends.
Moreover, the smartphone is also durable with an official IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. Even the front glass is protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass. Speaking of the front, the Agni 4 flaunts a 6.67-inch 1.5K 120 Hz 10-bit AMOLED display with HDR10 support and 2,400 nits of peak brightness, making it the most premium display on a Lava phone yet.

Even in the performance department, the Agni 4 does not compromise, featuring the Dimensity 8350 processor with 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. There is even a vapour chamber cooling module inside the smartphone.
Software-wise, the smartphone ships with Android 15 out of the box with three years of major OS updates and four years of security patches. Lava claims that their OS skin is clean, fast and minimal with a zero bloatware promise.

Speaking of software, the Agni 4 is the first "AI-first" smartphone from Lava. It debuts the brand's in-house VAYU AI assistant with dedicated expert AI Agents and contextual awareness. Users will be able to interact with the AI right from the home screen and add custom instructions for multiple tasks.
It also brings several AI tools like AI Photo Editor, AI Call Summary, AI Text Assist and more. All these features are instantly accessible using the new customisable Action Button with more than 100 shortcut triggers.

At the front, the smartphone brings a 50 MP Samsung JN1 selfie camera to the table.
In terms of battery and charging, the Agni 4 packs a 5,000mAh cell with support for 66W fast USB-C charging. Lava says that the smartphone can offer up to 14 hours of battery backup and can reach 50% charge in just 19 minutes.

That said, since the Lava Agni 4 India launch is set for November 20, 2025, the brand has kept the smartphone's price under wraps. Also, the Agni 4 will become the first smartphone from the brand to launch outside of India, with its UK launch timeline scheduled for Q1 2026.
