Indian smartphone brand Lava has managed to create considerable buzz on the internet with its upcoming Agni 4 smartphone. It is going to be the first phone from the brand without the "budget" tag. Hence, it is no surprise that the upcoming smartphone will flaunt a premium build all around.

Lava is not messing around with the Agni 4

The official X handle of Lava has revealed that the upcoming Agni 4 smartphone will feature a glass back. From the attached image, it appears to be frosted, which is good in terms of smudge and fingerprint resistance. Also, not too long ago, the brand mentioned an aluminium mid-frame for the Lava Agni 4.

Hence, the "premium by design" claim is actually true here. Moreover, a previous Agni 4 design teaser revealed a horizontal pill-shaped dual camera bar with LED lights. Interestingly, there is a new button at the bottom end of the smartphone whose functionality remains undisclosed.

All in all, the latest smartphone from Lava is indeed shaping up to be an interesting one. As for the specs, at the time of writing, none of the details have been made official yet. The brand has confirmed that the smartphone will gain a MediaTek chipset, but has not revealed which one.

Early internet speculation put the Dimensity 8350 as the most likely contender. If true, expect the Agni 4 to compete with the likes of the OnePlus Nord CE 5 and the Motorola Edge 60 Pro at launch.

Other than that, expect to see a 6.7-inch Full HD+ 120 Hz AMOLED display at the front, a 50 MP primary camera and a 7,000mAh battery.

That said, since the Lava Agni 4 India launch is happening on November 20, 2025, we will have to wait for just two weeks before the smartphone gets revealed in its entirety. It will be officially available in the Lunar Mist and Phantom Black colourways. Expect to see a price tag of around Rs 30,000 with the Agni 4.
