For the past few days, Lava has been dropping hints for the Agni 4 smartphone in India. It has managed to create considerable buzz for the upcoming smartphone. Now, the brand has officially confirmed the chipset of the phone along with other details.

Agni 4 is going to be a MediaTek powerhouse

The official X handle of Lava has revealed that the upcoming Agni 4 smartphone will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor. It will pair with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

This confirms that the Lava Agni 4 will position itself as an "upper mid-range" smartphone. For context, this is the same chipset used in smartphones like the OnePlus Nord CE 5 and the Oppo Reno 14. It is a capable octa-core SoC built on TSMC's 4nm process and features 3 Cortex-A715 cores clocked at 3.20 GHz, 4 Cortex-A510 cores clocked at 2.20 GHz and 1 Cortex-A715 core clocked at 3.35 GHz.

Hence, for those who enjoy gaming on their smartphones with good day-to-day performance, the Lava Agni 4 is shaping up to meet all these needs. Also, the fact that the chip is paired with fast storage and RAM makes the Agni 4 stand out in its segment.

Moreover, in a separate post, the brand also revealed that the smartphone will offer vapour chamber cooling for better thermal management. On the outside, it is going to be a glass and metal sandwich with a horizontal pill-shaped dual camera bar at the top.

The smartphone will also feature two LED light strips within the camera island and will also bring a new button to the mix. Other than that, if we were to go by previous leaks, expect Agni 4 to flaunt a 6.7-inch Full HD+ 120 Hz AMOLED display at the front, a 50 MP primary camera and a 7,000mAh battery.

That said, since the Lava Agni 4 India launch is happening on November 20, 2025, we will have to wait for just another week before the smartphone goes official. We expect to see a price tag of around Rs 30,000 with the Agni 4.
