The Lava Virat V1 and Virat V1 5G will go official in India on July 24, 2026. Ahead of launch, key specifications of both phones have been confirmed.
Lava Virat V1 5G Key Specifications Revealed
After confirming the Lava Virat V1 5G launch date, the manufacturer has pulled the curtain on the core hardware specifications of the smartphone. Revealed on the phone's Flipkart microsite, the Lava Virat V1 5G is confirmed to sport a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120 Hz refresh rate.

To protect against daily wear and tear, the smartphone will feature IP64 water and dust resistance. Under the hood, the smartphone will rely on a UNISOC T8200 processor, which will be complemented by 4 GB of RAM (expandable by another 4 GB virtually) and 64 GB of onboard storage.
Battery endurance seems to be the phone's main selling point, as it's confirmed to feature a massive 6,000mAh battery. Lava also reveals that the Virat V1 5G will run a clean, no-bloat version of Android 16 and its features.
Optics-wise, the Virat V1 5G is all set to feature a 13 MP primary camera alongside a 5 MP front camera for selfies. The phone's confirmed to arrive in two colours – Arya Blue and Sonar Gold.

Lava Virat V1 4G Key Specifications Revealed
Alongside its 5G sibling, Lava has also detailed the specs of the standard Virat V1, a 4G-only offering that shares much of its design language with the Virat V1 5G but trims down on a few fronts. The phone gets the same 6.75-inch HD+ display, though without confirmation of a high refresh rate panel like the 5G variant.
Powering the Virat V1 is a UNISOC SC9863A chipset, an older, 28nm processor from 2018, paired with the same 4 GB of RAM (expandable by 4 GB virtually) and 64 GB of storage as the 5G model. Battery capacity has been trimmed slightly to a 5,000mAh cell, and the phone retains the same IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.
On the camera front, the Lava Virat V1 mirrors its 5G counterpart with a 13 MP AI dual rear camera setup and a 5 MP front shooter. The phone also runs a clean, bloatware-free version of Android and will be offered in Nilgiri Blue and Himalayan Silver colourways.
Both phones will be backed by Lava's "Free Service at Home" program, offering at-home after-sales support.
While that is all we know about the smartphone so far, the brand should reveal more info as we get closer to the July 24, 2026, launch. The Virat V1 5G is a notch above the Lava Smart 4 Plus, and considering the ongoing RAM crisis, we expect it to fall in the sub-Rs 15,000 price range. Until then, stay tuned.
