Motorola has launched the Moto Pad 70 Groove in India, bringing a multimedia-first Android tablet with a rather unique twist. Although it's essentially a rebadged Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2, the tablet stands out with a massive 9-speaker JBL setup, a 120 Hz 2.5K display, a capable Dimensity chipset and a large battery.
Moto Pad 70 Groove Specifications and Features
The biggest highlight of the Moto Pad 70 Groove is its hybrid tablet-speaker functionality. Motorola has equipped the tablet with a 9-speaker JBL audio system capable of delivering up to 48W of combined output. The setup includes four tweeters, three woofers and two passive radiators, promising a rich and immersive audio experience.

Another noteworthy feature of the Moto Pad 70 Groove is its 360° rotatable kickstand. It allows users to prop the tablet both horizontally and vertically, as well as use it as a hook to hang the tablet.
This is convenient since the tablet comes with a dedicated Bluetooth Mode, allowing users to use the Pad 70- Groove like a portable Bluetooth speaker.

This allows the Moto Pad 70 Groove to deliver an immersive, rich and loud listening experience. Paired with the beautiful 12.1-inch 2.5K 10-bit IPS LCD panel, the Android tablet is a beast for watching your favourite shows and movies. The panel is also fast at 120 Hz and comes with HDR10+ support, 98% sRGB and 800 nits of high brightness.

Powering the tablet is the capable Dimensity 7400 chipset paired with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Motorola is also offering the ability to expand the onboard storage via microSD card support of up to 2 TB.
The tablet ships with Android 16 out of the box with Motorola's skin on top. The brand is promising 2 years of OS updates and 4 years of security patches.
Moving on, the tablet is equipped with a big 10,200mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. The tablet features a 13 MP main camera at the back and an 8 MP selfie sensor.
Connectivity-wise, the Moto Pad 70 Groove gets Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 support. It is also IP54 rated for dust and water resistance.
