Motorola is seemingly gearing up to enter the "slim phone" trend with the Motorola Edge 70. The brand has already confirmed the launch date of the smartphone. Now, a new leak has outed almost all the key details of the smartphone, days before its official announcement.
Motorola Edge 70 will be under 6mm thick
Folks over at Android Headlines have spotted an early listing of the Edge 70 on a Polish website. This spills almost all the key specifications of the phone ahead of launch.
Since the primary selling point of the smartphone is its slim profile, it's no surprise that Motorola has decided to keep the smartphone sleek at 6mm. This falls in line with a previous leak which gave us our first look at the Motorola Edge 70 design.
Expect to see an aluminium mid-frame for better structural integrity and Pantone-validated colour options with a textured back panel for the smartphone.
Additionally, even though the smartphone is going to be slim, there seems to be a very minimal tradeoff when it comes to battery. Android Headlines believes that the device will bring a 4,800mAh cell capacity to the table. While it's not the best, it is also not the worst. For charging, the device will feature 68W USB-C support and 15W wireless charging support.
At the front, the device is likely getting a 6.67-inch 1.5K 120 Hz p-OLED panel and will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. Users will reportedly be able to pair them with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. Expect to see the ship with Hello UI based on Android 16.
Lastly, talking about the cameras, the Motorola Edge 70 has been revealed to feature a triple rear camera setup with a 50 MP main sensor that supports OIS. The front camera is also said to be a 50 MP snapper.
That said, Motorola Edge 70 will first launch in Europe on November 5, 2025. It could then reach other regions of the world, including India. The current starting price estimation for the smartphone is 799 euros (approximately Rs 80,000).
It is definitely on the higher side, considering the fact that the Motorola Edge 60 launched for Rs 24,999 in India. So, considering that and the leaked specs of the Edge 70, we expect it to reach India for under Rs 25,000.
