Motorola has been launching new phones in India, every month lately. Last week, the brand teased the arrival of its latest Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus smartphone. Now, it has shared some official details for it, including its colour options and camera specifications.
Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ Confirmed to Feature a 50 MP 3.5x Periscope Camera
The official Flipkart microsite of the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ has been updated to reflect a 50 MP 3.5x periscope camera for the smartphone. It has also been confirmed to bring a 50 MP Sony LYT-710 main camera sensor with support for auto focus and OIS.

The teaser image also confirms four different focal lengths for the telephoto camera - 24mm, 35mm, 50mm and 85mm. Also, just like the Motorola Edge 70 Pro, the Pro Plus variant could also share the same 50 MP ultra-wide angle camera.
Moreover, Motorola has also shared the full front and back view of the Edge 70 Pro+ confirming it is equipped with a quad-curved display. If rumours are to be believed, then Edge 70 Pro+ could feature a 6.8-inch 1.5K 144 Hz quad-curved AMOLED display.

Alongside the cameras, we also get to know the colour options and material choice for the smartphone. It will be available in Pantone-validated, Zinfandel (satin luxe finish), Stormy Sea (twill textured) and Chicory Coffee (sculpted wood finish) colour options.
As for the rest, the Edge 70 Pro+ is likely to be powered by the Dimensity 8500 Extreme processor (overclocked Dimensity 8500 chipset) and bring a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast USB-C charging support.
That said, with some official details of the smartphone out, it is only a matter of time before Motorola also spills the tea on its official launch date. Since the phone is positioned higher than the Edge 70 Pro, expect it to cost close to Rs 40,000 at launch.
