Motorola has been teasing the launch of its latest Edge 70 Pro+ smartphone in India for quite some time now. Positioned to launch as an upgrade over the Edge 70 Pro, we now know the exact launch date of the phone and it is happening sooner than expected.
Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ India Launch Set for June
The official Motorola India X account has confirmed that the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ will launch in India on June 4, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST via Flipkart. Motorola has teased the phone as "stunning inside out" and has confirmed it to focus heavily on cameras.
Last week, Edge 70 Pro+ camera details were confirmed, revealing a 50 MP Sony LYT-710 main camera and a 50 MP 3.5x periscope lens, with four different focal lengths - 24mm, 35mm, 50mm and 85mm.
The teaser images also confirm the presence of a quad-curved display. Alongside cameras, we also know Edge 70 Pro+ will be available in Pantone-validated, Zinfandel (satin luxe finish), Stormy Sea (twill textured) and Chicory Coffee (sculpted wood finish) colour options.
As for the rest, the smartphone has been heavily leaked to bring a 6.8-inch 1.5K 144 Hz quad-curved AMOLED display, sport the Dimensity 8500 Extreme processor (a more fine-tuned Dimensity 8500 chipset) and feature a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast USB-C charging.
That said, with the official launch date now out, it is only a matter of time before we get to know more. So, stay tuned. Since it is positioned higher than the Motorola Edge 70 Pro, expect the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ price in India to be set around Rs 40,000 at launch.
