The hardware details for Motorola's next clamshell foldable smartphone have leaked. After unveiling the Razr Fold at MWC 2026, Motorola seems to be redeeming its signature Razr Flip smartphone for 2026, and the leaked details highlight similar specifications from last year.
Motorola Razr 70 to feature a similar Display and Battery
The database points to Motorola equipping the Razr 70 with the same 6.9-inch OLED inner folding display with FHD+ resolution, while the outer 3.63-inch OLED cover screen also remains the same. The listing mentions the battery capacity, which also remains unchanged at 4,500mAh in a dual-cell setup. The SKU number appears to be XT2657-2.

Under the hood, the listing reveals a mystery 2.75GHz octa-core processor and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The leak also highlights a large variety of memory configurations. Memory options span from 8 GB all the way to 18 GB, alongside up to 1 TB of storage. The higher-tier storage could be reserved for the Razr 70 Ultra, while the standard variant could max out at 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage.
Optics-wise, the smartphone could arrive with dual 50 MP rear cameras and a 32 MP front selfie snapper. The second 50 MP camera is said to be a Telephoto snapper with 3x optical zoom. While the certification omits the potential colours, rumours indicate two colours: Pantone African Violet and Pantone Mountain View. Regarding aesthetics, the listing states the phone could measure 7.2mm in thickness and weigh 188 grams.

While we don't have more information about the potential Razr 70 series launch date, considering the Razr 60 series debuted in April 2025, we could expect Motorola to launch it at around the same time. We can expect the series to consist of two smartphones – the Razr 70 and the Razr 70 Ultra. The former could use a MediaTek chipset, while the latter could useSnapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 5.
More details about the smartphones should be revealed as we inch closer to launch, so stay tuned.
