After dabbling in the clamshell foldable space for so long, Motorola has finally decided to jump on the book-style foldable bandwagon. Unveiled at CES 2026, the Motorola Razr Fold is now finally official in Europe with the latest Snapdragon processor, a large 2K display and one of the biggest batteries inside a foldable.
Motorola Razr Fold Specifications and Features
The Motorola Razr Fold has opted for the familiar book-style design that we have seen with devices like the Galaxy Z Fold 7. It brings a large 8.1-inch LTPO flexible 10-bit AMOLED display with 2K resolution and 6,500 nits of peak brightness. It is protected by Ultra Thin Glass (UTG) and supports Dolby Vision playback with Pantone-validated colour tuning.
For the outer display, Motorola has settled for a 6.6-inch 10-bit p-OLED panel with a 165 Hz refresh rate and 6,000 nits of peak brightness. The display is protected by the latest Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 glass. It is the first smartphone in the world to use Corning's newest glass protection tech.
For power, the Razr Fold relies on the all-new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and is paired with 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone ships with the latest HelloUI update based on Android 16 and is covered with seven years of software and security update promise.

Moreover, the phone also comes with a large 6,000mAh battery which supports 80W fast USB-C charging, 50W wireless charging and 5W reverse wired charging. Motorola is using a split-cell design to house two battery cells inside each folding half. Despite carrying a big battery, the foldable is 4.6mm and 9.9mm thick when unfolded and folded, respectively.
In terms of cameras, the Razr Fold brings a triple camera setup at the back with a 50 MP Sony LYT-828 main camera, 50 MP Sony LYT-600 3x periscope telephoto lens and a 50 MP 122° ultra-wide angle camera.
At the front, while the folding display houses a 32 MP selfie camera, the outer panel gets a 20 MP sensor. For videography, the Razr Fold can shoot up to 8K Dolby Atmos videos from the rear sensors. It is limited to 4K footage from the selfie cameras.

Aside from that, the smartphone gets Moto Pen Ultra stylus support with pressure-sensitive tips, tilt detection, palm rejection and contextual Quick Toolbar for multi-tasking. It also comes with several moto AI features like notification summarisation and real-time conversation transcription.
As for pricing, the Motorola Razr Fold will cost 1,999 Euros (approximately Rs 2,14,500) for the single 16 GB + 1 TB configuration. It will go on sale in Europe first in the next couple of months and users will be able to avail the phone in Pantone Blackened Blue and Pantone Lily White colour options. There is also going to be a special FIFA World Cup 2026 edition of the Motorola Razr Fold with the official FIFA 2026 logo and 24K gold plating.
