After teasing the Motorola Razr Fold India launch last week, the brand's flagship foldable has finally landed in the country. The Razr Fold is Motorola's first book-style foldable which features a big silicon-carbon battery, a bright pOLED display, a powerful Snapdragon chipset and reliable cameras.

Motorola Razr Fold Specifications and Features

The Motorola Razr Fold features an 8.1-inch 2K LTPO pOLED display with a peak brightness of 6,200 nits and an adaptive refresh rate of 1-120 Hz. The cover screen, on the other hand, measures 6.6 inches and supports a higher 165 Hz refresh rate. Both displays are Pantone Validated for colour accuracy and are protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 with an IP46/IP48/IP49 ratings

As for the design, the Motorola Razr Fold could appear like the foldable cousin of the Motorola Signature. Talking about its dimensions, it measures about 9.89mm in thickness when folded and 4.55mm when unfolded. The foldable weighs around 243 grams.

Under the hood, the foldable is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage. To manage heat during intensive tasks, the phone includes a 6002mm2 vapour chamber with liquid metal cooling. 

Power is supplied by a big 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast TurboPower wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Talking about the Motorola Razr Fold cameras, there's a triple rear camera setup with a 50 MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor with 3.5° OIS, a 50 MP Sony LYT-600 3x periscope telephoto lens and a 50 MP ultrawide shooter. For selfies, there's a 20 MP lens on the cover screen and on the inside, there's a 32 MP shooter to make use of. 

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, 25 5G bands and eSIM + physical SIM support. 

Motorola Razr Fold Price in India and Sale Date

The Motorola Razr Fold arrives in three RAM + storage variants in India. Here's a rundown:

  • Motorola Razr Fold 12 GB + 256 GB price in India: Rs 1,49,999
  • Motorola Razr Fold 16 GB + 512 GB price in India: Rs 1,59,999
  • Motorola Razr Fold 16 GB + 512 GB FIFA Edition price in India: Rs 1,69,999

Interested buyers can get an introductory Rs 10,000 instant bank discount, which reduces the effective starting price to Rs 1,39,999. Customers purchasing the foldable within the first month (by June 20, 2026) are also eligible for a one-time free screen replacement within the first year.

As for availability, the Motorola Razr Fold will go on sale in India on May 13, 2026, via Flipkart, motorola.in and select retail outlets.
