When the Nothing Phone 3 launched in India last year with an asymmetrical camera module design, it had us frowning for sure. Well, looks like Lenovo-owned Motorola is bringing a similarly drastic design change to its upcoming Motorola "Signature 27" as well.
Just last week, the brand teased the India launch of a mysterious Motorola phone, which we believed to be the Signature 27. Now, the official Motorola India X account has showcased the design of the phone and from the looks of it, it indeed is the Motorola Signature successor.
The phone is seen in what the brand refers to as Pantone Capulet Olive colourway (it will also come in a Pantone Coal Smoke option). We see a very different camera module design this time around.
Instead of three rear cameras and an LED flash placed inside a raised squircle camera island, we see a dual-tone edge-to-edge island with as many as four cameras and an LED flash.
In a different short 10-second video teaser, the brand showcased a close-up, which revealed that one of the lenses will be a 200 MP Dolby Vision-supported camera.
Moreover, we also see the Audio by B&O branding on the camera module. For those unaware, B&O refers to Bang & Olufsen, which is a luxury Danish audio-tuning brand.
The Motorola Signature 27 also features volume rockers and a power button on the right side of the frame. At the top portion of the frame, we also see two speaker grilles.
The brand will reveal more details about the phone at the Snapdragon Summit 2026 event tomorrow, on September 22. So, we can expect the phone to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset. Stay tuned for all the updates.
