Motorola hinted a few days back that it is prepping to unveil a new Signature series smartphone in India. While the exact details of the smartphone are yet to be out, we now have the official date when the unveiling will happen.
Motorola Signature India launch set for next week
The official Motorola India X handle has posted that the new Signature phone will break cover on January 7, 2026. It is being heavily marketed as a new premium offering from the brand. Early speculations suggest that Motorola will rebrand the yet-to-launch Edge 70 Ultra under the new Signature portfolio.

The smartphone has been in the leaks for quite some time now. It is allegedly internally codenamed Urus and is said to bring a high-end device to the table. At the time of writing, the exact name and specs of the smartphone are still under wraps. However, thanks to a previous Motorola Edge 70 Ultra leaked render, we know exactly how the phone will look.
Additionally, it is said to gain a 6.7-inch OLED display, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, up to 16 GB of RAM, and a triple rear camera setup.
That said, since we can't exactly claim that the Edge 70 Ultra will indeed become the new Signature smartphone, take this with a pinch of salt. Thankfully, since the official unveiling will happen in a few days, all confusion and mystery will hopefully disappear then.
