Motorola appears to be prepping its next major smartphone release, the Edge 70 Ultra. The smartphone has been turning up in the rumour mill quite often lately. Now, thanks to a fresh set of leaks, we have new insights about its design.
Edge 70 Ultra is part of Motorola's refreshed brand strategy
Trusted leaker Evan Blass has shared the alleged press renders of the upcoming Motorola Edge 70 Ultra. It is said to launch as the debut device under the new "Motorola Signature" portfolio of devices. As part of that, the smartphone rocks a refreshed back panel design.

It brings a complete shift in design from the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra. It now sports a metal squircle camera housing with a triple camera setup and an LED flash. The back has a unique and grippy texture, which could be made out of vegan leather. It shows off a Carbon and a Martini Olive colourway for the smartphone.
From the front, the Edge 70 Ultra retains the quad-curved display of the Edge 50 Ultra. However, the bezels are now thinner. The overall footprint of the smartphone is also slim. There is a single centre-aligned punch hole camera at the front.

This new design falls in line with the previous Edge 70 Ultra design renders that we saw a few weeks back. As for its specs, a recent Edge 70 Ultra Geekbench listing of the phone was spotted with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor.
Other than that, the smartphone could bring a large 6.9-inch 120 Hz OLED display, a 50 MP periscope camera and Android 16. That said, since these are alleged at the time of writing, take them with a hint of salt. We will make sure to report on official details when they are available. So, keep an eye out at Beebom Gadgets.
