Back in February 2026, the iQOO 15 Ultra launched in China as the brand's first flagship phone of 2026. While fans are expecting the iQOO 16 to become the next iQOO flagship, it seems like the brand has other plans, as a mystery iQOO phone has now been spotted online with top-of-the-line hardware.
Mystery iQOO Phone Spotted in the Wild: Leaked Specifications
Tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has revealed that iQOO is planning to launch a new phone in May 2026 with the flagship Dimensity 9500 chipset. While the exact name of the phone has not been revealed, many in the Weibo post's comments speculate it could be either the iQOO 15T or the iQOO Neo 11 Pro.

While DCS has not given any hint as to which new iQOO phone is being talked about, the fact that it is tentatively going to feature a 200 MP camera makes it less likely to be a Neo series phone. Moreover, just like the iQOO 15 and the iQOO 15 Ultra, the upcoming phone is said to feature a 2K 144 Hz flat AMOLED display. However, compared to the 6.85-inch screen on both of those flagship phones, it will reportedly be a tad smaller at 6.83 inches.
The phone is also expected to bring a large 8,000mAh cell with 7,845mAh rated capacity. If true, it will be larger than both the iQOO 15 and iQOO 15 Ultra. As for the rest of the upcoming iQOO phone's specifications, DCS mentions a metal frame, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and IP68 + IP69 rating.
That said, given the lack of knowledge as to which exact iQOO phone the leak is talking about, it is hard to tell what the brand is planning to launch next month. The phone will likely go head-to-head with the Redmi K90 Max and the upcoming OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra. iQOO could tease the phone officially soon, since we are in the last leg of April. So, stay tuned.
