After we got the Nothing Phone (3a) series back in March 2025, it is now time for the Phone (4a) lineup in 2026. While an official confirmation from Nothing is awaited, the Nothing Phone (4a) has seemingly been listed on the BIS certification website in India.
Nothing Phone (4a) BIS listing goes live
The listing was first sighted and reported by X user Dr Android. It has revealed a Nothing phone with an A069 model number. The smartphone will be manufactured locally in Uttar Pradesh, India, by Padget Electronics Pvt. Ltd, according to this listing.

For those unaware, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) is the official governing body responsible for standardising, marking and quality certifying goods before they are officially introduced in the Indian market. Every smartphone that launches in the country has to pass BIS certification before it can go live.
Hence, this Nothing Phone (4a) appearance is a strong indication of its India launch. Moreover, thanks to an earlier Phone (4a) IMEI database listing, we know that the A069 model number indeed belongs to the next Nothing "4a" series phone.

As for what the upcoming Nothing smartphone will offer, there is no word on that front yet, at the time of writing. Since there is a high chance it will be one of the first Nothing phones in 2026, expect it to bring the Nothing OS 4.0 update out of the box.
Aside from that, based on the Nothing Phone (3a), we expect the Phone (4a) to carry the following set of peripherals:
- Full HD+ 120 Hz LTPS AMOLED display
- Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor
- 5,000mAh battery, 50W fast USB-C charging
- 50 MP main camera, 50 MP ultra-wide and 50 MP telephoto sensor
- 32 MP front camera
- Nothing OS 4.0 based on Android 16
That said, none of the above-mentioned details has been confirmed yet. So, take them with a grain of salt. We will be sure to report on more details regarding the Nothing Phone (4a) here at Beebom Gadgets.
