Nothing is officially gearing to enter the sub-Rs 30,000 budget smartphone segment in India with the Phone 4b. The brand recently confirmed the launch date of the phone and now it has managed to land on the Geekbench platform, revealing the processor powering it.
Nothing Phone 4b Could Be Powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 Processor
Tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd on X) spotted the upcoming Nothing Phone 4b on Geekbench with the Nothing A009P model number. The listing reveals a single-core score of 1,088 and a multi-core score of 3,155. In addition, it also reveals that the phone packs 8 GB of RAM and runs on Android 16, possibly NothingOS 4.1.

As for the processor, the Nothing Phone 4b Geekbench listing reveals an octa-core CPU with 4 cores clocked at 1.80 GHz, 3 cores clocked at 2.21 GHz and 1 core clocked at 2.30 GHz. Given how familiar the 4 + 3 + 1 architecture split and frequency are, this is most likely the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset.
We have seen this processor used in phones like the Realme P3 5G and the Oppo K13 5G and it was a widely popular SoC of choice last year for phones priced under Rs 20,000. However, with the RAM crisis in no mood to ebb, it is not surprising to see the Phone 4b using it.

This aligns with Nothing's expected pricing strategy. The company's Co-Founder, Akis Evangelidis, while explaining the Nothing B series naming strategy, teased that the Phone 4b could sit below the Phone 4a. Since the latter launched at Rs 31,999, the Phone 4b could start under Rs 30,000. Tipster Yogesh Brar echoed a similar claim not too long ago, suggesting the phone may cost Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000 less than the Nothing Phone 4a.
That said, the Nothing Phone 4b India launch date is confirmed for July 7, 2026, at 4:00 PM IST and it will be sold via Flipkart. So, we won't have to wait long to know all the details. However, in classic Nothing fashion, do expect the brand to tease more details in the coming days.
