The RedMagic 11 Air Will Launch on This Date

Nubia has officially announced the official launch date of the RedMagic 11 Air in China. The smartphone will be an addition to Nubia's existing RedMagic 11 series. The Air moniker signifies that the smartphone will be a more portable offering than the traditionally bulky gaming phones.

RedMagic 11 Air launch date revealed

RedMagic's official Weibo account has posted the official launch date of the RedMagic 11 Air smartphone, and it's schedules on January 20, 2026, at 3:00 PM CST (or 12:30 PM IST). The smartphone will join RedMagic's existing 11 series smartphones, the RedMagic 11 Pro and the 11 Pro+.

True to its name, the smartphone is designed to be lighter and may feature a slim 7.85mm profile, weighing around 207 grams. Despite the sleek build, leaks indicate that the phone won't compromise on power. 

The RedMagic 11 Air landed on Geekbench recently, sporting the Snapdragon 8 Elite, paired with up to 24 GB RAM and a massive 7,000mAh battery. It could be paired with 120W fast charging support. And like its elder siblings, it may pack the same active cooling fan. 

Other rumoured features include a bezel-less full-screen experience via an under-display camera and a 6.95-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate. Besides, it's expected to ship with Android 16 features out of the box. Optics-wise, it may bring a 50 MP primary camera paired with an 8 MP ultrawide snapper.

While we don't have more information about its other potential specifications and pricing, we expect the smartphone to cost less than the RedMagic 11 Pro. The Pro costs 699 euros (approximately Rs 73,500), so we expect the Air to cost around 599 euros or less (approximately Rs 63,000).

With around a week to go for the official launch, more information about the smartphone should be revealed as we inch closer, so stay tuned.
