Last month, RedMagic's gaming phone Product Manager confirmed the RedMagic 11 Air China launch. Since then, the brand has maintained pin-drop silence and has not started teasing the smartphone yet. Now, it has managed to crop up via a Geekbench listing and it hints at an impressive performance upgrade.
RedMagic 11 Air could enjoy "Elite" treatment
The revelation comes straight from the tech publication Android Treasure, which managed to spot and report on the RedMagic 11 Air Geekbench listing. The smartphone has appeared with the nubia NX799J model number. It has managed to achieve 3,075 points in the single-core test, with 9,934 points in the multi-core test. It has also revealed the presence of 16 GB RAM and Android 16.

As for the processor, the listing mentions an octa-core SoC with 6 cores clocked at 3.53 GHz and 2 cores clocked at 4.32 GHz. Given how familiar the CPU cluster is, there is no doubt that we are looking at the 2024 top-of-the-line SoC, the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
This doesn't come as a surprise since a previous leak hinted at an Elite chipset for the smartphone. It wasn't explicitly stated which one back then. However, thanks to Geekbench, we now know exactly which processor the RedMagic 11 Air will rock.

Moreover, this will bring a serious performance jump from the previous generation, given that the RedMagic 10 Air was powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. So, expect some serious firepower from the upcoming phone.
As for what else it will pack, previous leaks have mentioned an active cooling fan design for the phone as well as the signature RedMagic under-display selfie camera. The smartphone is also said to bring a 7,000mAh battery and rock a 6.85-inch 1.5K OLED display at the front.
That said, the above-mentioned details are yet to be officially confirmed. So, take them with a pinch of salt. With a tentative January 2026 launch window, expect the brand to start teasing the phone in the coming days.
