After the OnePlus 15 launch, Indian fans are eagerly waiting for the OnePlus 15R to arrive. It is going to sport the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip and will be a toned-down variant of the 15. It will launch alongside the new Pad Go 2. Now, while the brand has already announced the launch date of the devices, it has today revealed something for the OnePlus Community as well.
OnePlus 15R and Pad Go 2 in-person event will be hosted in Bengaluru
As per a post made on the OnePlus Community website, the OnePlus 15R and Pad Go 2 will launch in India at a dedicated keynote event scheduled for December 17, 2025. It will be held at the Bengaluru Palace, Jayamahal in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
OnePlus says that this is a community celebration which will not only see the launch of two new products but also mark the 12th Anniversary of OnePlus. So, fans from around the country will be able to join the event and take part in the celebration.
The post mentions that as part of the event, OnePlus has set up special Demo Zones for hands-on experience and several community challenges for exclusive goodies and hampers. Fans will also be able to interact with keynote experts, celebrities and attend an exclusive music concert. So, to enrol, fans need to visit the OnePlus: Rise as One BookMyShow website and purchase the 1-day pass for Rs 499.
As for the devices themselves, the OnePlus 15R is going to launch as a rebranded OnePlus Ace 6T for China. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, feature a 165 Hz display, a quad IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K water and dust protection rating, OxygenOS 16 and more. Leaks and reports also suggest a 1.5K display, a massive 8,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
Talking about the Pad Go 2, it has been confirmed to gain a 2.5K LCD screen, OnePlus Stylo support and 5G connectivity. At the time of writing, not much is known about the new mid-range tablet from OnePlus.
That said, since the OnePlus 15R and Pad Go 2 launch in India will happen in just a few weeks time, expect more official details to surface soon.
