The OnePlus 15R is the latest victim of the ongoing rise in memory prices. The phone that launched back in December 2025 at Rs 47,999 for the base (12 GB + 256 GB) RAM and storage option has officially received a Rs 2,500 price hike, bringing the starting price of the phone to Rs 50,499 in India.
OnePlus 15R price goes up by Rs 2,500 in India
This development comes from multiple user reports, spotting the increased price for the OnePlus 15R on Amazon India as well as the OnePlus Official Store pages. Earlier, the phone was listed for Rs 47,999 for the base variant, but now the listing displays a starting price of Rs 50,499. A total of Rs 2,500 increase over its original price. Even the 12 GB + 512 GB high storage variant went from Rs 52,999 to Rs 55,499.

The new prices came into effect from April 1, 2025. But sadly, this one is not a joke. Here's a table comparing the earlier pricing of the OnePlus 15R with the current cost:
| OnePlus 15R Variants | Older Price | New Price |
|---|---|---|
| 12 GB + 256 GB | Rs 47,999 | Rs 50,499 |
| 12 GB + 512 GB | Rs 52,999 | Rs 55,499 |
These new prices could be a result of the ongoing RAM shortage and its rising price, or a strategy by the company to release the phone at a lower price as an introductory offer and increase the price later. Similar to how the Vivo T5x launched for Rs 18,999 on March 17, 2026, but received a Rs 2,000 price increase just after two weeks.
The OnePlus 15R was one of the best gaming mobile phones under Rs 50,000, featuring a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and 165Hz AMOLED display. The phone still remains one of the best contenders from gaming lovers; however, the increased price could make it a difficult decision to pick this phone over other similarly priced devices like the Vivo V70 Elite and Realme GT 7 Pro.
