Google has validated previous rumours that OnePlus is working on its next-generation Ace series. A recent update to the Google Play Console's Supported Devices catalogue includes the names of the OnePlus Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro models.

OnePlus Ace 7 Pro May Feature Active Cooling

Spotted first by Android Treasure, the OnePlus Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro handsets boast model numbers PYF110 and PMS110. While the spottings don't reveal the exact specifications of either smartphone, prior Geekbench listings and rumours give us a decent idea of what to expect.

A recent Geekbench 7 listing shows that both smartphones may arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Both scored quite similarly, with the Ace 7 managing 2,986 and 10,477 in single- and multi-core, whereas the Ace 7 Pro peaked at 3,112 and 10,451 points.

While the core processing hardware is identical, the major differences between the two models are likely in the way they manage thermals. Recent leaks suggest that the Pro may arrive with a dual-airflow active cooling fan system designed to expel hot air from the sides of the chassis.

Recent concept images shared by DCS on Weibo reveal the potential design of the OnePlus Ace 7 series from the back, while illustrating how the active cooling system could dissipate heat.

Beyond processing power, the Ace 7 series is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 185 Hz refresh rate. The phones may pack up to 16 GB of RAM, 1 TB of internal storage and a colossal 9,000mAh battery, flanked by 100W fast-charging support.

Optics-wise, the phones could feature a primary 200 MP main camera, alongside a 50 MP secondary lens, supposedly a 3.5x Telephoto.

These specs seem similar to those tipped in recent OnePlus 16R India launch leaks, pointing to the possibility that it could be a rebranded OnePlus Ace 7. However, some industry rumours have pointed to the OnePlus 16R being a rebranded OnePlus Ace 7T. Either way, It's too soon to conclude.

While information about its potential launch timeline is scarce, OnePlus' previous ACE series release cadence points to a November 2026 unveiling, so stay tuned.
