OnePlus has launched the Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro in China, featuring massive 9,000mAh batteries, 200 MP primary cameras and 165 Hz LTPO OLED displays. The Pro model also gets a periscope telephoto camera and a built-in cooling fan.
OnePlus Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro Specifications and Features
Both the OnePlus Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2772 x 1272 pixels. The BOE X4 panel uses LTPO technology and supports a 165 Hz adaptive refresh rate across the system, with a higher 185 Hz refresh rate in supported games.
The display also offers a peak brightness of 3,600 nits, 520 Hz multitouch sampling and 4,800 Hz instant touch sampling, alongside PWM dimming.
Under the hood, the OnePlus Ace 7 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V series chipset, while the Ace 7 Pro gets the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Both phones feature a dedicated gaming chipset, including the P4 display processor and G3 gaming network chipset.
For thermal management, the smartphone packs a 6,350 mm2 3D vapour chamber and a dual-channel Glacier Air Cooling System with a built-in fan. The cooling setup is designed to maintain stable performance during demanding gaming sessions.
In the camera department, both models feature a 200 MP Samsung S5KHP5 primary rear camera with OIS and a 16 MP front-facing camera. However, the OnePlus Ace 7 Pro adds a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera with OIS, giving it an advantage for zoom photography. The standard Ace 7 instead features an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera.
Battery life is another major highlight, with both smartphones packing a 9,000mAh Glacier battery and a dedicated Glacier energy-efficiency chipset. They support 100W wired fast charging and system-wide bypass charging, which can help reduce battery heating during gaming by supplying power directly to the phone's components.
Other features include an IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K-rated build, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, symmetrical dual speakers, an X-axis linear motor, NFC, an IR blaster, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Both phones run Android 17 with ColorOS 17 features on top.
