The OnePlus N6 Lite India launch was teased very recently, and now a concrete date is officially out. Expected to land as the brand's most affordable smartphone yet, we also get our first look at the OnePlus N6 Lite design and key specifications.
As per the official OnePlus India website and Amazon, the budget OnePlus N6 Lite will launch in India on September 22, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. The phone is marketed as "Powerfully Big" and has been showcased in Midnight Hype and Neo Green colour options.

Additionally, we get a good look at the OnePlus N6 Lite design, and it follows the recent design language of Oppo and OnePlus phones. However, when compared to the OnePlus N6 and the OnePlus N6x, the upcoming phone looks a bit different. We see that signature squircle camera module at the back with dual cameras and an LED flash in an iPhone 16 Pro-like placement.
OnePlus N6 Lite Specifications and Features
Alongside the launch date and design reveal, OnePlus has also confirmed several of the OnePlus N6 Lite's features. The phone will feature a 6.75-inch LCD display at the front with a 120 Hz refresh rate and OnePlus' "Aqua Touch" technology, designed to register touch inputs accurately even when moisture, water droplets, or oil are present on the glass.

The phone will share the N6x's 7,000mAh battery capacity, and OnePlus claims that the OnePlus N6 Lite will be able to deliver up to 26.8 hours of video playback, 29.9 hours of Google Maps navigation and 49.7 hours of voice calls.
OnePlus N6 Lite will ship with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box and will receive 36-month fluency certification. The phone will also bring OnePlus AI features like AI Eraser and AI Clear Face. Furthermore, the smartphone will feature an IP64 rating, MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification and UFS 2.2 storage.
