After teasing the Mivi One 5G India launch, the brand has now confirmed the exact date when its first smartphone will go official. Mivi, which has spent the last decade building audio products in India, will be expanding into smartphones with this.
Mivi One 5G Launch Date in India Announced
In a press release, the brand has confirmed that it will launch the Mivi One 5G in India on September 24, 2026. The phone will be available via Flipkart, using the e-commerce platform's nationwide reach and logistics network.
We also get a better look at the phone's design. The phone will come in a vibrant green colourway and sport what appears to be a single camera with a secondary AI lens housed in a pill-shaped module. That secondary lens could also be a dummy unit, as is the case with a lot of budget phones.
There's also an LED flash accompanying the camera island. In addition, we get a glimpse of the top portion of the phone's frame, which is home to a single microphone.
Mivi says the phone has been developed with Indian consumers in mind and will be produced through its growing manufacturing ecosystem in Hyderabad. The company is positioning the Mivi One as an extension of its existing product development, engineering, R&D, and manufacturing capabilities in India.
Mivi has confirmed that the Mivi One 5G will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 5G mobile platform. However, the company has not revealed the exact chipset yet. But thanks to a Geekbench listing of the phone, we know that it could be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2.
The phone is built using "Mivi’s strong strategic partnerships with Qualcomm, Flipkart and Google". Mivi says the phone is designed to combine performance, design and value for Indian consumers.
The Mivi One 5G price in India is expected to be set under Rs 15,000. At that price point, it could go up against phones like the Realme C100i and Boltt Ace 5G.
