OnePlus is around two weeks away from unveiling the Nord 5 series in India and has been slowly teasing the specifications. Now, the brand has revealed the camera specifications of the OnePlus Nord 5.
The dedicated Nord 5 microsite on the OnePlus India website has been updated to reveal its camera details. At the back, the dual camera setup will be home to a 50 MP Sony LYT-700 primary sensor with support for auto focus and OIS.
However, OnePlus has not officially revealed the megapixel count or the sensor type of the secondary camera. But based on what we know, it will most likely be an 8 MP ultra-wide camera sensor.
On the front, the selfie shooter will be a 50 MP Samsung JN5 sensor with support for auto focus. The best part is that the OnePlus Nord 5 will be able to shoot 4K @ 60 FPS videos from both the front as well as the rear cameras, making it an ideal choice for content creators.

This is in line with the OnePlus Nord 5 specifications that leaked earlier this month. Apart from this, the OnePlus Nord 5 is also confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 mobile platform and will also feature a 7,300 mm² vapour chamber for sustained performance. On the display front, the device will come with a 144Hz refresh rate.
Meanwhile, thanks to leaks, we can draw a couple of other expectations as well. Compiling it all, here's a quick rundown of the expected as well as confirmed key specifications of the OnePlus Nord 5:
- 6.8-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display
- Up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage
- 5,200mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging
- IP65 rating
With that said, the OnePlus Nord 5 series India launch is scheduled for July 8, 2025. As for availability, both the Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 will be available to purchase via Amazon as well as the OnePlus India official online and offline retail stores. Also added to the portfolio is the OnePlus Buds 4 with Hi-res LHDC 5.0 audio support and more.
