OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 to Officially Launch in India on July 8

After weeks of subtle teasers and rumour mill buzz, OnePlus has officially confirmed its Summer Launch Event for July 8, 2025, at 2 PM IST. This event will see the launch of three devices – OnePlus Nord 5, OnePlus Nord CE 5 and the OnePlus Buds 3. 

We see the brand detail a couple of the OnePlus Nord 5 specifications as well. For starters, it is now confirmed to arrive with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. This falls in line with its Geekbench appearance recently, which suggested the same chipset. There's some added focus on gaming here, as the phone has also been confirmed to arrive with a 7300 mm2 vapor chamber cooling system.

According to the brand, this will allow the Nord 5's to run up to 4.3°C cooler than the Samsung Galaxy A56 when playing CoD Mobile at 60 FPS. Additionally, the brand also promises 144Hz support for both CoD Mobile and BGMI. OnePlus will also use an LPDDR5X RAM configuration for the device. 

Meanwhile, nothing has been confirmed on the hardware front of the OnePlus Nord CE 5. However, thanks to the Nord CE 5 being spotted on Geekbench not too long ago, we expect it to arrive with the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC. 

As for the OnePlus Buds 4, the brand has confirmed it to arrive with a dual driver setup backed by dual DACs. Additionally, the upcoming earbuds will also feature Hi-Res LHDC 5.0, 3D Spatial Audio and offer 47ms ultra-low latency for gaming. 

With that said, all three devices will be available for purchase via Amazon as well as the OnePlus India official online and offline retail stores.
