Summary

  • OnePlus Nord 5 and the Nord CE 5 specifications have now leaked online.
  • The Nord 5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 while the Nord CE 5 will pack the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset.
  • Both phones are scheduled to launch in India on July 8, 2025 along with the upcoming OnePlus Buds 4.

Only yesterday, OnePlus confirmed the launch date of its Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 phones in India. With a few weeks still to go, specifications of the upcoming phones have now leaked online.

An exclusive report by Android Headlines leaves nothing to the imagination when it comes to the OnePlus Nord 5 and the Nord CE 5. From official device images to the complete spec sheet, here's a rundown of what to expect from the upcoming OnePlus Nord devices.

Starting with the OnePlus Nord 5, it will launch with a 6.83-inch Full HD+ 144Hz AMOLED display. It will be surrounded by an 8.1mm thick mid-frame and complemented with a glass back.

The back panel will have the centre-aligned OnePlus logo and a pill-shaped camera cutout in the top left corner. And speaking of the cameras, the rear setup will feature a 50 MP primary shooter with an 8 MP secondary lens, quite possibly an ultra-wide camera. On the front, the top centre punch-hole cutout will be home to a 50 MP selfie shooter.

Under the hood, the Nord 5 will feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. Also added to the mix is a 5,200mAh battery that will support up to 80W fast charging. However, looks like OnePlus will skip the silicon carbon battery tech with the device.

Apart from this, the Nord 5 is expected to weigh 211 grams and offer an IP65 dust and water protection rating.

Coming to the Nord CE 5, it will be a toned-down version of the Nord 5. It gets a slightly smaller 6.77-inch Full HD+ 120Hz AMOLED display. The mid-frame is also thicker at 8.2mm, and the back is now made up of plastic.

It also bears the same pill-shaped rear camera module with the same 50 MP primary lens and another 8 MP secondary shooter. The selfie camera however, is brought down to just 16 MP on the Nord CE 5.

On the inside, the Nord CE 5 misses out on a Snapdragon SoC.  Instead, it will come with the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset and will be paired with 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage.

However, it gets the same 5,200mAh battery with 80W fast charging as the Nord 5. Apart from this, the phone is lighter at 199 grams and will offer IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.

With that said, the OnePlus Nord 5 series is coming to India on July 8, 2025 and will be available to purchase via Amazon as well as the OnePlus India official online and offline retail stores. Tagging along is the OnePlus Buds 4 with Hi-res LHDC 5.0 audio support and more.
