OnePlus Nord 6 Specifications Revealed with 9,000mAh Battery and Durability Focus

After loads of teasing, rumours and uncertainties around the brand itself, OnePlus is now gearing up to launch the Nord 6 in India next week. The phone is aimed at modern individuals who value a good mix of performance, endurance and ruggedness. The latest information dives deeper into the specifications of the upcoming OnePlus Nord 6.

OnePlus Nord 6 will feature a huge battery

Following up with the previous unveilings, OnePlus has updated the OnePlus Nord 6 Amazon landing page with more specifications. The page reveals that the phone will feature a whopping 9,000mAh battery that should give the phone great endurance. Besides, the phone will also feature IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for further enhanced physical durability and protection against water and dust.

The page also confirms the previous rumours about the phone's processor. It's now confirmed to be the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. Besides, the OnePlus Nord 6 will also feature a "Chip-accelerated" Wi-Fi and support for a 165 FPS gaming experience. Complementing the performance is UFS 4.1 storage and LPDDR5X RAM.

Camera-wise, the phone features a 50 MP primary Sony sensor with OIS and a 32 MP front camera. Accompanying the main snapper is an 8 MP shooter. OnePlus claims these cameras use the OnePlus 15's DetailMax algorithm. Protecting the screen is Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+, alongside a MIL-STD-810H rating.

As for the other specifications, the phone is expected to run Android 16-based OxygenOS 16 and 80W fast charging. Besides, the display is expected to get as bright as 1,800 nits.

For those unaware, the OnePlus Nord 6 is a rebranded OnePlus Turbo 6 that launched in China earlier this year. OnePlus Nord 6 India launch is all set for April 7, 2026, with sales expected to follow in the forthcoming weeks, so stay tuned.
