The OnePlus Nord 6 will be launching in India next month, but the usual "CE" and "Lite" variants are missing from early teasers. The last Lite phone was the Nord CE 4 Llite and while the Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 launched last year, no CE 5 Lite followed. However, a new leak now suggests OnePlus could revive the Lite with a Nord CE 6 Lite this year, to fill the gap under Rs 20,000.
OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite India Launch Date Most Likely Set for April 2026
Tech publication SmartPrix has exclusively shared the first look at the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite in India. The report also contains the alleged specs of the phone and the price range. From the leaked design, it is clear that the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite is a rebadged OnePlus Turbo 6V. However, it is not exactly a "rebrand".

As it is evident from the above image, just like the OnePlus Turbo 6V, the Nord CE 6 Lite will also feature the same squircle top-left-aligned camera deco with dual rear cameras. A pill-shaped cutout is present beside the lenses, featuring the LED flash and a black portion below.
At the front, CE 6 Lite is expected to feature the same flat display as that of the Turbo 6V with slim and uniform bezels. The design has been further corroborated by leaker Mukul Sharma, who has shared the real-life image of the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite.

However, there is a drastic difference when it comes to specifications. Instead of the Turbo 6V's 1.5K 144 Hz AMOLED display, the Nord CE 6 Lite is reportedly getting a 120 Hz LCD panel. Both phones share the same display size at 6.7 inches.
For performance, the Nord CE 6 Lite is said to rely on the Dimensity 6300 processor, instead of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset powering the Turbo 6V. Even the battery capacity will likely be reduced from 9,000mAh to 7,000mAh. Other than that, the phone is said to feature a 50 MP main camera, a 16 MP selfie shooter, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and OxygenOS 16 update.
Pricing-wise, the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite is said to begin in India from Rs 23,000 for 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. For comparison, the OnePlus Turbo 6V launched in China for 1,699 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 21,000). So, it is clear that in terms of value, the Nord CE 6 Lite will not be able to justify its starting price.
More so, because surprisingly, the report states that the phone will not ship with a charger in the box. Hence, at the time of writing, given how much of a contrast the smartphone is from its "inspiration", take this leak with a pinch of salt. With the OnePlus Nord 6 India launch scheduled for April 7, 2026, we hope to gain more insights into the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite. The phone is expected to launch in May 2026.
