OnePlus has recently taken a very performance-centric approach with its phones, especially the newly launched OnePlus 15 and OnePlus 15R. The upcoming OnePlus Turbo is expected to be another such phone and now, live images of the upcoming phone have surfaced online, giving us the first clear look at it ahead of launch.
OnePlus Turbo live images reveal similar design
The images, revealed by Android Headlines, show a phone that blends that familiar OnePlus styling with a surprisingly bold battery-centric design strategy. The leaked photos reveal a phone with a glossy plastic back and flat, squared-off edges that are reminiscent of other midrange OnePlus phones.
Going by the images, the rear camera module sits in the upper-left corner, housing what appears to be a dual rear camera setup. Two colour options are visible in the leaks, with one being a greenish-blue and the other a glossy black.

What immediately stands out in the OnePlus Turbo live images is the phone's thicker profile, a physical hint at the rumoured 9,000mAh battery that has become a defining talk point for the Turbo. While OnePlus has only confirmed the Turbo series' existence so far, Android Headlines reveals some other details too:
- 6.8-inch 1.5K flat display with a 144 Hz refresh rate
- 9,000mAh battery, 80W fast charging
- Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor
- 8 GB RAM and up to 256 GB storage
- Android 16-based OxygenOS 16
The processor choice is rather strange as a OnePlus Turbo Geekbench listing suggested the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 instead, which makes more sense given the performance-centric approach.
According to the publication, the OnePlus Turbo is codenamed "Prado" internally and may launch first in China under the Turbo name before arriving in global and Indian markets with most likely the Nord branding. While OnePlus hasn't confirmed the launch date yet, the phone is expected to launch sometime in Q1 2026.
