Oppo could soon launch its biggest battery phone yet in the affordable A-series with the Oppo A7 Pro Max, as per a new leak. If true, this will be the first time that the brand introduces the "Pro Max" branding to the lineup.
Oppo A7 Pro Max Key Specifications Leaked
As per leaker Digital Chat Station (DCS) on Weibo, the Oppo A7 Pro Max is in the works with a massive 10,000mAh battery capacity and 80W fast charging support.
Moreover, the large battery capacity is also tipped to bring substantial thickness and weight to the Oppo A7 Pro Max. The phone will reportedly weigh 226 grams and be 8.47 mm thick. Cameras on the phone could remain fairly standard with a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP secondary sensor. The selfie camera might be a 50 MP shooter.

Speaking of display, the tipster suggests that the A7 Pro Max will feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution. The smartphone will reportedly draw its power from the fairly recent Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset and could be one of the first Oppo phones to run the SoC.
The current Oppo A6 lineup offers both an Oppo A6 Pro and an Oppo A6 Max phone. However, there is no Oppo A6 Pro Max. So, with the Oppo A7 Pro Max, it could be that the brand is trying to utilise the "Pro Max" branding scheme to indicate higher battery endurance and top-notch display specs.
Other than that, no other detail for the Oppo A7 Pro Max is known at the moment. This is also the first time the smartphone has surfaced in the rumour mill. It is unclear when the phone will launch, but it should first debut in China before getting to other markets like India. We should hear more details in the coming days. So, stay tuned.
