Oppo's F series just turned 10 and the company is celebrating with a pair of tough, big-battery phones. The Oppo F35 5G and Oppo F35 Pro 5G are now official in India, with 8,000mAh batteries, serious water resistance and 50 MP selfie cameras.
Oppo F35 Pro 5G and Oppo F35 5G Specifications and Features
Starting with the display, the Oppo F35 Pro 5G has a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 144 Hz refresh rate, peaking at 3,600 nits locally and 1,800 nits in HBM mode.
The Oppo F35 5G has a smaller 6.57-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel at 120 Hz with up to 1,400 nits of HBM brightness. Both support 10-bit colour, 100% DCI-P3, and 2,160Hz PWM dimming, plus five eye-care features.

Touch has been tuned for wet conditions, with Rainstorm Touch working in rainfall of up to 1,000mm/h and Splash Touch handling wet or oily fingers.
Under the hood, the Pro runs on the 4nm Dimensity 7360 Max, with up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The standard F35 uses the 6nm Dimensity 6360 Max with up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
Both support up to 16 GB of RAM expansion and use a vapour chamber for cooling. AI GameBoost 3.0 and AI LinkBoost 4.0 improve gaming performance and network stability and Oppo promises smooth performance for up to 5 to 6 years.

They run ColorOS 16.1 with AI features such as AI Grouping, AI Recording Sticker, AI Call Guard and Shake & Pay for quick UPI scanning.
Both the Oppo F35 and Oppo F35 Pro are rated IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K and use AM04 aluminium alloy over the mainboard with cushioning around key components. Oppo says they passed 16 SGS military-standard procedures. The IP69K rating also enables underwater photography with the bare phone, in still freshwater up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes.

The Pro's back panel is carved from a single composite sheet and its front glass is AGC DT-Star D+. Meanwhile, the standard F35's Wave Blue and Mist Pink options feature a 3D wave texture.

For photography, the Oppo F35 Pro pairs a 50 MP OIS main camera with an 8 MP ultrawide, while the F35 has a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP depth sensor. Both have a 50 MP selfie camera with a 100° field of view and an AI Auto Wide-Angle Switch for group shots.
Both Oppo phones also get features like AI Night Mode, AI Portrait Glow and AI Popout and the Pro adds 4K @ 30 FPS video, 2.5K recording, Dual-View Video and Fujifilm-style filters.

Both the Oppo F35 and Oppo F35 Pro feature 8,000mAh batteries with 80W SuperVOOC charging and 10W reverse wired charging. Oppo's lab tests claim a full charge in about 73 minutes on the Pro and around 78 minutes on the F35.
