Oppo Find X9 Ultra Launch Date Tipped, India Launch Later

Oppo's upcoming Ultra flagship has leaked on countless occasions, revealing everything from its design to its key specifications. While rumours have previously pointed to an April launch, the latest information seemingly reveals the exact global launch date of the Oppo Find X9 Ultra.

Oppo Find X9 Ultra coming next month

According to a post on X by tipster Yogesh Brar, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra is slated for an official launch on April 20, 2026. Not only that, but the brand will seemingly veer away from its traditional strategy of launching the Ultra globally later, as Brar claims this will be a simultaneous launch for both China and select global regions.

Following the April unveiling, the smartphone is expected to hit the stores in the first week of May. Brar also revealed that India's launch is scheduled at a later date, although he did not reveal the exact date.

Furthermore, this leak also coincides with the X post from Oppo's CEO Pete Lau, who earlier posted a teaser about the Find X9 Ultra launching soon globally. The post contains an image of the smartphone from the side with an orange-accented button, likely for the shutter and an olive green frame.

Oppo Finx X9 Ultra specifications have leaked on countless occasions already. The smartphone is expected to be powered by a 6.82-inch 144Hz LTPO AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a 7,050mAh battery with 100W fast charging. The phone's USP will be its Hasselblad-tuned cameras.

The X9 Ultra could be packed with a 200 MP main, 200 MP periscope, 50 MP periscope and 50 MP ultrawide cameras, alongside a 50 MP front camera. Despite packing so much hardware, the phone will reportedly be only 8.7mm thick and weigh 237 grams.
