Oppo K13x 5G Launched in India with 6,000mAh Battery and IP65 Rating

After teasing the K13x 5G for some time now, Oppo has finally launched its budget 'K' series smartphone in India. The K13x 5G features several durability-centric features like the MIL-STD 810H durability standard, IP65 dust and water resistance rating, and more. With that said, here's a quick rundown of the phone's detailed specifications, pricing and availability details.

Oppo K13x 5G Specifications and Features

Oppo's latest budget smartphone prioritises durability, much like the recently launched Oppo A5 5G. The K13x 5G features what the brand is calling a "Damage-Proof 360° Armour Body". Additionally, the device has received a shock resistance rating of MIL-STD 810H. Besides, the device also boasts an IP65 rating for protection against dust and water.

The other standout feature of the K13x 5G is its 6,000mAh battery. The brand claims that even after five years, the device will retain 80% of its battery capacity. It also supports 45W wired fast charging, and Oppo claims that 21 minutes of charging will take the battery from 0 to 30%.

Now, coming to the display, the K13x 5G features a 6.67-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness. This display is encased within a 7.9mm body that weighs around 194 grams.

Under the hood, there is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, paired with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

At the back, on the top left corner, there is a vertical rectangular dual camera module with an LED flash. This setup includes a 50 MP primary shooter with auto focus and support for videos of up to 1080p @ 60 FPS. The secondary camera is a 2 MP monochrome sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. At the front, there is an 8 MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

On the software side, the K13x 5G runs on Colour OS 15 based on Android 15. Oppo is claiming 36 months of uninterrupted usage experience. This means that the device will be supported for the next three years. Although not explicitly stated, expect the device to receive 2 years of software upgrades and 3 years of security updates.

Apart from this, the Oppo K13x 5G also gets a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a bottom-firing speaker, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, dual 5G SIM support, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB-C 2.0 port.

All three variants will go on sale in India starting June 27, 2025, from 12:00 PM IST via the Oppo India website and Flipkart.

Additionally, only applicable on June 27, early-bird customers are eligible for a Rs 1,000 bank offer. Oppo is also offering a no-cost EMI tenure of three months via Flipkart.

The Oppo K13x 5G will be available in the Midnight Violet and Sunset Peach colour options.
