Oppo Pad 5 with Dimensity 7300 Ultra and 10,050mAh Battery Launched in India

Oppo has launched the Oppo Pad 5 in India, alongside the new Reno 15 series. The tablet was initially launched in China in December last year and has found its way to India just two weeks later. The Oppo Pad 5, a mid-range tablet, has a lot in common with the OnePlus Pad Go 2, which was also launched in December 2025.

Oppo Pad 5: Key Specifications and Features

Starting with the display, the Oppo Pad 5 has a 12.1-inch 2.8K LCD screen with Dolby Vision support. Oppo also offers a Soft Light display, meaning the panel uses a matte finish to reduce glare. The screen has a 7:5 aspect ratio, providing a taller and wider experience. Moreover, the panel boasts an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz and 12-bit colour depth with a maximum brightness of 900 nits.

Under the hood, the Oppo Pad 5 runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset. It's an octa-core processor manufactured on TSMC's 4 nm process, featuring 4x Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.5 GHz and 4x Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. Paired with UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5X RAM, Oppo aims to strike a perfect balance between performance and efficiency.

Oppo has packed in a massive 10,050mAh battery that supports 33W SuperVOOC charging. Software-wise, the tablet ships with the latest ColorOS 16 features based on Android 16. As for the cameras, there are 8 MP sensors at the front and the back for video calling. There's a quad-stereo speaker system for entertainment.

In its launch material, Oppo highlights AI-powered tools for note-taking and productivity, alongside the Oppo Pencil 2R (to be purchased separately), which features 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity and palm rejection for a good note-taking experience. The tablet also features an AI recording summary, Circle to Note, and AI eraser features.

Connectivity-wise, Oppo Pad 5 comes with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB 2.0 Type-C port. Besides, there's support for 5G in a different variant of the tablet. Speaking of which, the tablet offers two RAM and storage variants - 8 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB. The former is a Wi-Fi-only variant, while the latter is a cellular variant.

Oppo Pad 5 Price in India and Sale Date

Coming to the pricing, the 8 GB + 128 GB variant of the Oppo Pad 5 is priced at Rs 26,999 in India, while the 8 GB + 256 GB variant with 5G is priced at Rs 32,999. Oppo is also offering an instant bank discount of up to Rs 2,000, bringing the price down to Rs 24,999 and Rs 30,999, effectively. There's also a 9-month no-cost EMI option on offer.

The Oppo Pad 5 is currently available for pre-order on the Oppo India store. It will go on sale on Flipkart and offline stores starting from January 13, 2026. The tablet is available in two colours – Starlight Black and Aurora Pink.
