Oppo has started rolling out the June 2026 ColorOS 16 update to eligible smartphones in India. The latest update introduces a handful of new features, including Audio Sharing, AI-powered sports updates, improved privacy protections and several quality-of-life improvements.
What's New in the ColorOS 16 June 2026 Update
One of the biggest additions in this update is Audio Sharing, which allows a single Oppo phone to stream media to two connected Bluetooth earphones at the same time. This feature lets two people listen to music or watch videos from the same Oppo phone using separate Bluetooth earphones.
The update also introduces a new AI-powered Sports Widget for the Shelf and Home Screen on compatible Oppo phones. This lets users view World Cup schedules, live scores and match updates without opening another app.

Besides, ColorOS 16 now speeds up navigation by suggesting highly used apps in the 'Categories' section. On the privacy front, there are new Accessibility security alerts that warn users when apps installed from unknown sources request Accessibility permissions.
The Weather app now shows Moonrise, Moonset and Moon Phase information. Gamers will also be happy to know that the update brings support for capturing 2K screenshots when gaming.
Lastly, the ColorOS 16 June 2026 update improves Outdoor Mode with the ability to pin up to four apps, better app transitions and improved location responsiveness.
ColorOS 16 June 2026 Update Eligible Oppo Phones
The latest ColorOS 16 update is eligible for the following Oppo phones:
- Oppo Find X9, X9 Pro and X9 Ultra
- Oppo Find X9s and X9s Pro
- Oppo Find X8, X8 Pro
- Oppo Reno 15 and 15 Pro
- Oppo Reno 14 and 14 Pro
Eligible users can check for the update by heading over to Settings -> System & update -> Software update.
It's worth noting that the update is being seeded in batches and hence it may take time to reach all eligible devices. Oppo has stated that the update will be rolled out to all smartphones by June 30, 2026, so stay tuned.
