OnePlus first introduced Mind Space with the OnePlus 13s, and it's a feature capable of acting like a digital memory and personal assistant to help you get through your day. OnePlus has just announced that Mind Space is getting a Gemini upgrade.
OnePlus Mind Space and Gemini join forces for context-aware assistance on OxygenOS 16
OnePlus' official India X account confirmed that Gemini will soon be able to pull information from Mind Space in OxygenOS 16. The picture in the post about asking Gemini to help "plan a 5-day trip to Paris with content from Mind Space" gives us an idea about how the feature would work.

With the prompt, Gemini could pull all the Paris trip-related information and show users the most efficient way to execute the trip. For those unaware, Gemini already integrates with a handful of OnePlus apps like Notes and Clock, with Mind Space being a new addition.
This integration should give users meaningful reasons to start using both Gemini and Mind Space on OnePlus phones. For starters, users wouldn't need to give Gemini the full context, thereby saving lots of time.

This way, Mind Space could become more usable since users wouldn't have to choose between the Google's own Reminders and Tasks apps. This Gemini integration finally gives Mind Space more weight on OnePlus phones.
That said, OnePlus does mention that the Mind Space and Gemini integration will only roll out to flagship OnePlus devices. Right now, this could include the OnePlus 12, 12R, OnePlus 13, 13R and OnePlus 13s, all of which offer the Mind Space feature. They are also among the few OxygenOS 16-supported devices.
As for other OxygenOS 16 features, we could see new lock screen customisations with new lock screen clock styles and widgets. Besides, we could also see many Android 16 features like live updates and search in photo picker, which could also finally make it to the release. Stay tuned as we will closely follow the launch to bring the latest updates.
