Poco has officially started teasing the launch of the Poco M8 Power in India. A dedicated Flipkart microsite for the phone has now gone live and confirms that the phone is "coming soon". This also confirms the phone's availability on the e-commerce platform upon launch.
The Poco M8 Power is being teased to pack a "big battery" and offer "non-stop entertainment". Leaks and reports suggest that it could be a rebranded Redmi Note 17, which launched in China earlier this week alongside the Redmi Note 17 Pro.
Thanks to the sneak peek at the design of the phone in the microsite, we are more confident of it being a rebadged Note 17. However, unlike the Note 17, which arrived in Black, Meteor Purple and Light Aquamarine colourways in China, the Poco M8 Power is showcased in a more upbeat orange option.

Although the brand hasn't revealed anything about the phone's specifications, we can make some assumptions based on the Redmi Note 17's specs.
Poco M8 Power Expected Specifications
Starting with the battery itself, just like the Redmi Note 17, the Poco M8 Power could pack a monstrous 8,000mAh battery. The Xiaomi sub-brand could also throw in 45W fast charging support to make things convenient.
The Poco M8 Power could also offer a good binge-watching experience with a massive 7-inch 2396 × 1080 OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1,800 nits of peak brightness.
Under the hood, the phone could be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

For photos and videos, the Poco M8 Power could sport a sole 50 MP main rear camera and an 8 MP selfie shooter at the front. It could also offer quite the durability with an IP65 rating.
However, do note that these are our assumptions, based on the Redmi Note 17's China variant. The Indian variant of the Poco M8 Power could very well arrive with some tweaks. So, take it with a pinch of salt for now.
Moreover, the Poco M8 Power will likely launch in India alongside the standard Poco M8, which is expected to be a rebrand of the more premium Redmi Note 17 Pro.
From the looks of it, the Poco M8 Power could be priced at around Rs 35,000, while the regular model could come with a more exorbitant price tag. Given the ongoing RAM crisis, it's better not to expect economical pricing.
That said, since the brand has just started teasing the Poco M8 Power, expect more details to be confirmed in the coming days, along with an exact launch date. Until then, stay tuned.
