Poco has officially launched the M8x 5G in India, expanding its M8 lineup just weeks after the M8 Power 5G. The highlight feature here is the chipset, with Poco touting the M8x 5G as India's first smartphone to run Qualcomm's newly launched Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset.
Poco M8x 5G Specifications and Features
The Poco M8x 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5, an octa-core chipset built on a 4nm process with two performance cores clocked at 2.4 GHz and six efficiency cores at 2 GHz.
Up front is a 6.9-inch LCD display protected by Gorilla Glass, in a bezel-less design with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.

On the camera front, the phone gets a dual rear camera setup led by a 50 MP primary sensor alongside an 8 MP secondary lens with an LED flash, while an 8 MP camera handles selfies and video calls up front.
The base variant comes with 4 GB of RAM paired with 128 GB of non-expandable storage, and the phone ships with HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 out of the box. It will be backed by four years of major OS updates and six years of security patches.
