Poco is all set to unveil its X8 Pro series in India today, on March 17, 2026, at 5:30 PM IST. So far, we've seen a barrage of leaks revealing everything from the phone's key specifications to its design. However, the latest leak is the final nail in the coffin for the series, as the Poco X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max India pricing has leaked.
Poco X8 Pro series will be significantly more expensive
Posted first by tipster Paras Guglani on X, the base Poco X8 Pro (8 GB + 256 GB) will start at Rs 33,999, whereas the 12 GB + 256 GB variant will hit Rs 37,999. The more premium Poco X8 Pro Max will be priced at Rs 41,999 for the 12 GB + 256 GB variant and Rs 45,999 for the 12 GB + 512 GB variant.

Additionally, like last year, Poco X8 Pro will also get an Iron Man edition, and the base variant of the same is expected to command and cost Rs 43,999. If these numbers are accurate, the base model will be roughly Rs 6,000 more expensive than the Poco X7 Pro. This lines up with the previous Poco X8 Pro price rumours that suggested a steep price increase due to the ongoing RAM crisis.
However, Poco is expected to soften the blow with introductory bank discounts of up to Rs 3,000, bringing the price of the X8 Pro down to as low as Rs 30,000. Paras suggests these offers will also extend to the Iron Man edition, bringing its price down to Rs 40,999.

However, despite the price bump, Poco is expected to pack some serious hardware. For starters, the Poco X8 Pro features a 6.59-inch 1.5K 120Hz display with 3,500 nits of peak brightness. The X8 Pro Max gets a larger 6.83-inch unit. On the durability front, the phones are expected to boast IP68/69k ratings.
Performance-wise, the Poco X8 Pro will arrive with a Dimensity 8500 chipset, whereas the Pro Max will boast a Dimensity 9500s sub-flagship chipset. Complementing them are UFS 4.1 storage and LPDDR5X RAM.
With the launch set for later today, more information about the smartphones, their exact pricing and sale date should be revealed then, so stay tuned!
