Tecno has expanded its audio portfolio in India with the launch of its highly anticipated Pova AI Buds Pro. The TWS earbuds are positioned as an everyday audio device tailored specifically toward working professionals and multitaskers.
Pova AI Buds Pro Specifications
Starting with the design, the Pova AI Buds Pro feature a pebble-like squircular design with a lid that slides upwards to reveal the earbuds sitting inside. Unlike most TWS earbuds, which settle vertically in their cases, the Pova AI Buds Pro earbuds lie horizontally, face down.
The earbuds themselves have slight grooves on their stems for pinch controls. Another feature on the Pova AI Buds is a Quick Note button inside the case, similar to the Audio Snapshot feature on the Nothing Ear (3a). Pova claims that the earbuds offer 4 hours worth of onboard storage.
Pressing and holding it will start the voice recording directly on the earbuds, thanks to onboard memory. It can later sync with your phone using an app to import all the recordings. The Pova AI Buds Pro also consider sound quality, with support for Hi-Res audio thanks to the presence of the LHDC codec.
Under the hood, the device is equipped with an 8-microphone array paired with a specialised Voice Pickup Unit (VPU). Pova claims this ensures clear voice transmission and background noise filtration during calls. This is combined with Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation to block up to 48dB of ambient sound.
The earbuds boast AI-powered real-time speech transcription and can automatically generate meeting summaries, complete with curated action items and to-do lists. Additionally, a built-in AI translation tool supports up to 78 different languages. Besides, the Buds Pro also support dual-device connectivity with seamless audio switching.
Coming to longevity, the charging case brings the total playback time to 40 hours. The earbuds can be recharged both via the Type-C port and Qi wireless charging. For protection against dust and water splashes, the Pova AI Buds Pro incorporate an IP55 rating.

The Pova AI Buds Pro are priced at Rs 14,999, but early buyers can snag the earbuds at a special launch price of Rs 12,499 by using select bank discounts and no-cost EMI options. The device will go on open sale in India starting August 22, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST across Amazon and Flipkart.
