Realme's Next P Series Phone Might Pack a 10,000mAh Battery

Not long ago, Realme showcased a concept phone with a 10,000mAh battery capacity. It never translated into a real product. However, that might soon change as a new report claims that the next P series phone in India could sport a 10,000mAh battery capacity.

Tipster Yogesh Brar spotted a new Realme phone under the BIS certification website in India. It was listed on December 22, 2025 and bears the RMX5017 model number. The tipster claims that the new phone will launch in India under the "Realme P" branding. This could suggest that Realme is prepping the Realme P5 series for launch.

For those who are unaware, the BIS or the Bureau of Indian Standards is the statutory body of India, which the Government of India has set up to standardise, mark, qualify and certify goods and services before their official arrival in the country.

So, it is clear that after the Realme 16 Pro and the Realme 16 Pro+, it is now time for the budget-focused P-branded phone to arrive in the country. As for what it will bring, Brar claims that this is going to be the first 10,000mAh battery phone to launch in India. For context, the Realme P4 series which went official in August 2025, shipped with a 7,000mAh cell capacity. Hence, a jump of 3,000mAh in just a span of five months is truly impressive.

If true, the smartphone will join the ranks of the Honor Win, Honor Win RT and the all-new Honor Power 2. Back in May 2025, the Beebom Gadgets team got to test a working prototype of a 10,000mAh battery concept phone from Realme. Even though it packed such a massive capacity, the smartphone was still thin and lightweight at just 8.5mm and 210 grams.

So, it will be interesting to see if the same physical dimensions are maintained with the upcoming P series smartphone. That said, at the time of writing, the brand has not confirmed anything. So, take it with a pinch of salt. Since Brar claims that the new phone could go official before January 2026 ends, we expect official teasers to begin shortly.
