The RedMagic 11 Pro series launched in China last October, and RedMagic is now gearing up to unveil its next gaming flagship. The RedMagic 12 Pro+ is officially on the way, and we now know exactly when it will make its debut.
RedMagic 12 Pro+ China Launch Date Announced
The RedMagic 12 Pro+ is confirmed to launch in China on October 15, 2026, at 2:30 PM CST (or 11:30 AM IST). That's just three days after the OnePlus 16 China launch and the RedMagic flagship will also feature the all-new Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset.
The biggest change this year is the design. RedMagic says the 12 Pro+ is lighter, thinner, and narrower than its predecessor, aka the RedMagic 11 Pro+, with more rounded edges. This is said to make the phone comfortable to hold during long gaming sessions and bring better ergonomics
However, RedMagic has not shared the design of the phone yet. Up front, the display bezels have shrunk to just 0.96 mm, down from 1.25 mm on the RedMagic 11 Pro+. RedMagic is also sticking with its under-display selfie camera, so there's no punch-hole on the screen.
Aside from that, RedMagic's product general manager, Jiang Cha, has confirmed new cooling technology and improved system UI and AI features for the RedMagic 12 Pro+.

Beyond the confirmed details, leaks have revealed some of the key specs of the RedMagic 12 Pro+. The smartphone is tipped to feature a 144 Hz display and an 8,400mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging and 80W wireless charging.
The smartphone is expected to bring a built-in cooling fan like the 11 Pro+ and a liquid and air cooling setup like the RedMagic 11s Pro+.
